TNPSC - Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has conducted TNPSC Group 1 Combined Civil Services Exam 2014 on 20th July 2014 under the new TNPSC Group 1 Syllabus 2014. The number of  TNPSC Group 1 Posts as per the notification is 79. Nearly 1.65 lakhs of candidates have applied for the upcoming TNPSC Group 1 Preliminary Examinations and only around 45% have appeared (Only 73,173 Candidates have appeared for the TNPSC Group 1 2014 Exam). Land Reforms
Land Reforms in simple terms it means the measures or regulations taken by the government regarding the ownership of the agricultural lands. It also involves tenancy reforms, land ceiling, land redistribution and more for the benefit.
 Land Reforms in British India
During the British rule in India, they introduced 3 major Land revenue system as per the need of the location and their convenient.

Zamindari System (Permanent Settlement)
  • Who Introduced? - Cornwallis with the help of John Shore
