• Ballistic Missile Defence is a two layered interceptor missile system developed by DRDO.
• It consists of two missiles
• Prithvi Defence Vehichle - for intercepting targets in exo-atmosphere at altitude over 85 Km.
• Advanced Area Defence missile - for interceptind targets in endo-atmosphere at altitude of 15 km.

Prithvi-II Missile

• It is a nuclear capable surface to surface missile.
• Range: 350 Km
• Payload: 1000kg.
