• Resolution to appeal Myanmar to stop Border Fencing
• The Nagaland Assembly passed a resolution requesting the central government to appeal the Myanmar to stop the border fencing along the Indo-Myanmar border.
• The Naga people lives on both the sides of the Indo Myanmar border, the fencing will make the permanent separation between the nagas living in both the border areas.

• Uttarakhand HC banned Mining for four Months
• The Uttarakhand High court has banned the mining activities in the entire state to curb illegal mining.

• Honorary General of Nepalese Army
• Indian Army Chief Bipin Rawat was conferred the title "Honorary General of Nepalese Army' by the Nepalese President, Bidhya Devi Bhandari.
• Earlier Nepalese Army Chief Gen. Rajendra Chettri was conferred the title 'honorary general of Indian Army in Feb 2017.
• The reciprocal tradition to each other's army general was started in the year 1969.
