1.Global Entrepreneurship Summit at Hyderabad in Nov 2017.

India and US will jointly host the Global Entrepreneurship summit at Hyderabad in Nov 2017, which will bring together entrepreneurs and start-ups with global leaders.

2.World BioFuel Day 2017- August 10

World Bio Fuel Day 2017 was celebrated by Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas with the objective to sensitize youths, farmers and others about the benefits of biofuel and seek their involvement in Biofuel programmes. It also stresses the importance of biofuels as cost effective and environmental friendly that substitutes other fuels.

 3.Aajeevika Grameen Express Yojana (AGEY)

Government has planned to launch a new sub scheme “Aajeevika Grameen Express Yojana” as part of the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana -National Rural Livelihoods Mission for providing transport service in backward areas.

It will help to provided safe, affordable rural transport to connect the remote villages which will help to boost the overall economic development of remote areas.

4.Poet and writer Vijay Nambisan dead

Vijay Nambisan the poet and writer passed away. He is the first All India Poetry Champion in 1988. He co-authored Poetry book “Gemini” with Jeet Thayil and Dom Morae. His other notable book is “Language as an Ethic and poem “Madras Central.

5.Madhubala wax figure unveiled at Madam tussauds

Actor Madhubala’s wax figure was unveiled at Madam Tussauds. Wax figure was inspired by her character “Anarkali” from the movie “ Mughal-e-Azam”.

6.Ruth Pfau, pakistan’s mother Teresa dies at 87.

Ruth Pfau Pakistan’s Mother Teresa Dies at 87, she dedicated her life to eradicate leprosy in Pakistan.
