1.Mission Mode to address Under-Nutrition to be held in New Delhi 

The National Conference on "Mission Mode to address Under-Nutrition” was organised by Ministry of Women & Child Development in cooperation  with Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, with the goal of “Mission Malnutrition Free India-2022” held at New Delhi.

2.Zannah Mustapha gets top UN Peace prize. 

Zannah Mustapha from Nigeria gets top United Nation’s Peace prize “Nansen Refugee Award” for helped to secure the release of more than 100 school girls kidnapped by Boko Haram (Islamic extremist terrorist group).

3.YC Modi appointed as new chief of NIA. 

YC Modi was appointed as the new Director-General of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) .

4.P.V. Sindhu Korea Open Super Series title. 

Indian Shuttler P.V Sindhu wins Women’s Korean Open Super Series title beating world champion Nozomi Okuhara of  Japan by 22-20, 11-21, 21-18.

5.Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust wins “Rajbhasha Kirti Award” 

Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) was awarded the “Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar” for the year 2016-17  and now it was the 11^th consecutive time.
