1.Nobel Prize for literature 2017
2017 Nobel Prize in Literature was awarded to British Author Kazuo Ishiguro. The Swedish Academy has praised novels include the Remains of the day and never Let Me Go “which uncovered the  abyss beneath our illusory sense of connection with the world”

2.NGT stays kaleshwaram project, Telangana,
National Green Tribunal has ordered temporary stay on Kaaleshwaram lift irrigation project of Telangana Government due to lack of environmental clearance.

The project  aims to construct a barrage across river Godaveri in Karimnagar district of Telangana to divert 180,000 million cubic feet of water  to its drought hit area includes Adilabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Nizamabad, Nalgonda. It will help to irrigate 7,338,851 hectares of land.

 3.-ISRO to set up research centre in Guwahati, Assam.

Indian Space Research Organisation is planning to set up Research Centre in Guwahati, Assam. This centre is setting up to explore geospatial technology .

4.Gauri lankesh named for Anna Politkovskaya award.

Journalist Gauri Lankesh has been posthumously given the Anna Politkovskaya award instituted by Reach All Women in War. She became the first Indian to win this prestigious award.



5.Andhra Pradesh signs Mou with mastercard.
Government of Andhra Pradesh has signed Memorandum of understanding with Master Card to pave way for digital finance transaction in secure environment.


6.FIFA Under 17 world cup 2017- India 

FIFA Under -17 world Cup 2017 has begins in India. This is the first time Indian Football team is participating in World Cup.
