1.India is the 2^nd  largest producer of horticultural crops and fruits in the World 

Radha Mohan Singh , Union Minister for Agriculture and farmers welfare said that India is the 2^nd largest producer of horticultural crops and fruits in the world after China. It was due to research and development projects in Horticulture crops.

2.IAF bid adeu to Mi 8 chopper 

Indian Air force on Sunday bid adeu to Mi 8 chopper which come to the aid of civilians in multiple rescue operations and wars. It has served Indian Air force for 45 years.

3.Study says oldest Plesiosaur was a swimmer . 

Researcher from University of Bonn the Oldest Plesiosaur which lived in 201 mn years ago was strong swimmer. 

4.Dahart made world record for sailing around the world in shortest period. 

Francoi Dahart from France has sailed around the world in 42 days, 16 hours, 40 minutes and 35 seconds on his first attempt, became the fastest non-stop solo navigation in the world.

5.Sindhu wins silver in Dubai World open super series.
