1.Portal NARI for Women empowerment launched 

Union Minister Menaka Gandhi has launched an online portal called NARI an initiative to empower women. This portal will provide easy access to information on government schemes and initiatives for women. Portal will contain more than 350 schemes for women .

2.India’s Second largest rooftop solar unit commissioned in UP 

Gas Authority of India (GAIL) has commissioned India’s Second largest rooftop solar unit at its Petrochemical Complex at Pata, Uttar Pradesh.  It has the capacity of 5.76 MWp (Mega Watt peal ). 

 3.Government declared Nagaland disturbed area for another 6 months. 

Union Government has declared Nagaland as disturbed area for another 6 months under the AFSPA (Armed Forces Special Powers) Act which makes the security forces can arrest anyone or conduct operation anywhere without prior notice.

4.Archaeologist find 2,700 years old governor of Jerusalem seal
