1.Defence ministry clears two procurement proposals 

Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman has cleared 2 procurement, first to buy 250 bombs from JSC Rosonboron Exports, Russia and second procurement of 131 Barak Missiles and associated equipment from Rafeal Advance Defence Systems Ltd., Israel,

2.Rajya sabha passes bankruptcy code amendment bill 2017. 

RAjhya Sabha has passed the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, 2017, which prevents unscrupulous persons from misusing the provisions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.

3.TN Registration department launched Samadhan scheme. 

Tamil Nadu Registration department has launched the Samadhan Scheme to public ,to solve the huge backlog and get the registered document on time.

4.Tamil Nadu gets new REAT Chairman. 

B. Rajendran former High Court judge  has been appointed as new chairperson of the Real Estate Appellate Tribunal (REAT) for Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

5.Justice Manmohan Singh is new chairman for IPAB. 

Justice Manmohan Singh has been appointed as new chairman of Intellectual Property Appellate Board (IPAB) which is headquartered in Chennai 

6.DP Singh taken charge as Chairman of UGC 

DP Singh has taken charge as new chairman of University Grants Commission.

7.RIL Commissioned world’s largest off-gas cracker facility. 

Reliance Industries Ltd  has commissioned world’s largest Refinery Off-Gas Cracker  complex at Jamnagar, Gujarat.
