1.MILAN 2018. 
  • Andaman & Nicobar to host MILAN 2018 , which is a congregation of littoral Navies conducted biennially by Indian Navies.               
  • This exercise aims to strengthen cooperation among the participating countries.
  • This year it will held from March 6 to 13 with the Theme  “Friendship across the seas”


2.Rustom 2
Defence Research and Development Organisation  successfully flew its medium-altitude long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) Rustom 2 its Aeronautical Test Range(ATR) at Chalakere at Chitradurga, Karnataka.

3.SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) 
Reserve Bank of India has asked all banks to link its core banking solution with SWIFT(Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) interbank messaging system by April 30.



4.TAPI gas Pipeline
  • TAPI (Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India ) gas pipeline’s construction begins in Afghanistan.
  • TAPI Gas pipeline will help to link India and Pakistan with energy rich Central Asia.
  • Turkmenistan holds the world’s fourth largest natural gas reserve.
  • The world's second-biggest gas field Galkynysh will feed the TAPI  Gas pipeline. 

5.e-Governance Conference 
  • The 21st National Conference on  e-Governance  held in Hyderabad, Telangana.
  • The theme of this year is Technology for accelerating Development”.

6.Chennai Salem Green Highway 
The 8-lane Green express-highway between Chennai to Salem to come up at a cost of Rs 10,000 crore. 

7.China's President Xi Jinping 
  • The Communist Party of China has proposed to remove tenure to serve as president and vice president as not more than 2 consecutive terms.
  • It Makes China’s President Xi Jinping  to stay as president beyond his tenure.
