1.Free Viral Load Testing. 
  • Union Health Minister JP Nadda has launched Free viral load testing for all people living in HIV/AIDS (PLHIV).
  • This test helps to monitor the effectiveness of treatment of patients taking lifelong Antiretroviral Therapy .
  • It will helps more than 12 lakh people taking treatment for PLHIV in India.    
2.National Technology Centre for Ports, Waterways and Coasts(NTCPWC) 
  • Union Minister  Nitin Gadkari has laid the foundation stone for National Technology Centre for Ports, Waterways and Coasts (NTCPWC) at Indian Institute of Technology  Chennai.
  • NTCPWC is set up under the programme SAGARMALA, which helps to provide engineering and technological inputs and support for Ports, Inland Waterways Authority of India and other institutions. 

3.“KUSHI” 
Odisha government launches new Scheme “KUSHI” to provide free sanitary pads to 17 lakh Students. 

4.Four lakh olive ridley nest at Rushikulya. 
The endangered species Olive ridley has nested record of more than four lakh nest in Rushikulya rookery coast in the Ganjam district of Odisha in 2018.

5.China becomes Vice chair of FATF 
  • China has elected as Vice chair of Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
  • FATF is an inter-governmental  body to combat money laundering and terrorist financing.
  • It was established in G-7 summit in 1989, headquartered in Paris, France..
  • It has 37 member including India, European Union and the Gulf Co-operation Council 

6.SRIJAN’ 

Indian Railways has launched SRIJAN (Station Rejuvenation Initiative through Joint ActioN), an idea competition for 635 Station Development on Indian Railways at MyGov portal.
