1.POSHAN Abhiyan. 

• The first National workshop on POSHAN Abhiyan conducted by Ministry of women and Child development held in New Delhi.
• The aim of the POSHAN Abhiyaan is to address the malnutrition through Convergence, Use of Technology and a Targeted approach

2.World’s First Trusted Digital Repository. 

• National Cultural Audiovisual Archives (NCAA) becomes the first Trusted Digital Repository in the World as per ISO 16363:2012 standard.
• It was granted by Primary Trustworthy Digital Repository Authorisation Body Ltd. (PTAB), United Kingdom.
• It is the project of Ministry of Culture of India implemented by Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA)
• The aim of NCAA is to identify and preserve the cultural heritage of India and made available in Audio visual form through digitization and make accessible to all. 

3.Plastic Park 

• Union Government is planning to set up Plastic Park  in Deoghar district of Jharkhand.
• It also set up set up Central Institute for Plastic Engineering & Technology (CIPET) and Plastic Recycling unit at Deoghar district. 

4.106th Indian Science Congress. 

The next Indian Science Congress to be held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh
