1.India ranks 145 in Healthcare access, Quality. 

• India Ranks 145^th in Healthcare access and quality among 195 countries according to latest study by Lancet.
• Top five countries with better quality and access for Healthcare are Iceland followed by Norwary, Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Australia.
• The bottom five countries are the Central African Republic, Somalia, Guinea-Bissau, Chad and Afghanistan. 

2.Nepal eliminated Trachoma. 

Nepal becomes the first country in South-East Asia to eliminate the disease Trachoma according to World Health Organisation.

3.India’s first National Sports University 

Union Cabinet has given its nod for Ordinance to set up India’s First National Sports University in Manipur.

4.SCO Anti-Terrorism Meet.

• India is likely to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) anti-terrorism meeting to be held in Islamabad.
• This is the first time Pakistan is hosting the meet after it became a member of SCO.
