1.Mohanpura Irrigation Project. 
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated Mohanpura irrigation project to the nation in Madhya Pradesh.
  • The project will help irrigation to agricultural land of Raigarh district of Madhya Pradesh , also provides the drinking water to that areas.

2.Mongolia launches its first oil refinery.
  • Mongolia has launched construction of its first Oil refinery funded by India in southern Dornogovi Province.
  • This is capable of processing 1.5 million tonnes of crude oil per year and helps Mongolia to reduce the dependence of Russian fuel.

3.RemoveDEBRIS. 
  • The International Space Station (ISS) deployed the world’s first ever satellite to clean dangerous space debris orbiting the Earth.
  • The Satellite as named as “RemoveDEBRIS”, which is developed by  Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL) and  launched on a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft from Florida.

4.Pakistan to include in FATF’s Grey list. 
  • Pakistan is to include in Financial Action Task Force’s (FATF) Grey list.
  • FATF is an inter-governmental  body to combat money laundering and terrorist financing.
  • It was established in G-7 summit in 1989, headquartered in Paris, France..
  • It has 37 member including India, European Union and the Gulf Co-operation Council

About Grey list
  • Including in Grey list which means the country which not taken enough step to counter money laundering and terrorist financing.
  • It will decrease the foreign investment in the country considering the ties to terrorist activities , also the image of country.
  • Also very difficult to get the loan from International monetary fund, world bank and other foreign financial institituion.

5.Swachh City ranking. 
  • Indore from Madhya Pradesh bags India’s Cleanest City tag.
  • In Tamil Nadu Trichy place in 13th position, Coimbatore in 16th and Chennai is in 100th Position 

6.Statue of Cariappa 
Statue of first Army Field Marshal Late K.M Cariappa was unveiled in Officer Training academy Chennai.
