1.NIRBHAY' Sub-Sonic Cruise Missile tested successfully. 
Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has successfully tested India’s first indigenously designed and developed long range sub-sonic  cruise missile called NIRBHAY from the Integrated test range (ITR),Chandipur, Odisha.

It has the capability to carry 200 to 300 kg of war heads with speed of  0.7 Mach at altitude as low as 100 m low.

2.India Signs $119M Loan with World bank for Odisha’s Education project. 
India has signed $119M IBRD(International Bank for Reconstruction and Development) loan agreement with World bank for “Odisha Higher Education Programme for Excellence & Equity (OHEPEE) Project”. 

The main aim of the project is to improve the quality of student’s equitable access to institution for higher studies and enhancing the governance of higher education system.

About IBRD:
It is an international financial institution, which is part of first of five member institution that comprise of World bank. It gives loan to the middle-income developing countries. 

3.Scientist found Missing link in origin of life on earth 
Scientist at the Scripps Research Institute in US  has found a compound called diamidophosphate (DAP), that may have played a major role origin of life on Earth.


 4.SHe-Box online complaint Management System for women launched. 

Union Minister for Women and Child Development Maneka Gandhi has launched She-Box online complaint management system for working women to lodge complaints of sexual harassment at workplace in both public and private firms.
