How to Link Aadhaar Card with Voter ID ? - Seeding Aadhaar Card with Voter ID

Election Commission of India started the process of linking/Seeding the Aadhaar Card with the Election Voter ID. On completion of the entire process, the duplicate bogus cards can be easily found. So that we can get the most accurate number of eligible voters and also many other benefits.

In this article let us see how to link our Aaadhaar Card number with EPIC - Elector's Photo Identity Card.

Election Commission of India has provided various ways to seed/link the Aadhaar card with the Voter ID. The various ways are

1. Linking via Online
2. Linking via SMS
3. Linking via Calling
4. Linking via Email

Link Aadhaar Card with Voter ID

Online

Step 1: Visit http://electoralsearch.in/search.jsp

Step 2: Find your Voter ID by providing basic informations and search

Step 3: After selecting your Voter ID number, Provide the Aadhaar Card Details in the required fields

Step 4: Submit!!! you are Done !!!

SMS

Step 1: In your mobile phone, open a new text message

Step 2: Type in this format

             ECILINK <space>EPICNO <space> ​AADHAARNO 

             Example:- ECILINK XYZ1234567 012345678901

Step 3: Send it to 51969

Step 4: YOU are DONE!!!

Call

Step 1: Call this number '1950' it is a toll free number.

Step 2: Customer care executive will attend the call.

Step 3: Provide your EPIC (Voter ID) number and Aadhaar Card and other details

Step 4: YOU are DONE!!!

E-mail

Step 1: Select compose new mail

Step 2: Type your Aadhaar card number and EPIC (Voter ID) number in the message field

Step 3: Send it to "tnvoteraadhaar@gmail.com" (This email is for Tamil nadu Voters)

Step 4: YOU are DONE!!!
