    • The railway department has launched India's first green rail corridor between rameshwaram and mana madurai.
    • Trains running through this corridor will have bio toilets and also does not discharge toilet wastes in the tracks as like the other trains.

  • RFID Tagging of Containers
    • Jawaharlal Nehru Port in Maharashtra became the first port in India to tag the container with RFID tags.

    • It is a mobile application launched by TRAI for the consumers to check their Internet speed.
  • Aquila
    • It is a Internet drone developed by facebook.
    • Aquila was tested successfully recently.
    • It is very similar to the google's loon project, instead of balloon aquila project uses drones.

    • He was an Indian Athlete who set a new world record in Javelin in the Under 20 category by throwing the javelin to 86.48 m distance and winning the gold medal in Under 20 world athlete chaimpionship held in Poland.
