1.Moody’s upgraded India’s Sovereign Credit Rating from Baa3 to Baa2. 
International rating agency Moody’s Investors Service has upgraded India’s sovereign Credit Rating from Baa3 to Baa2.

2.Government introduces Daily Drug Regimen for Tuberculosis treatment.
Under the Revised National TB Control Programme (RNTCP), Ministry of Health and Family welfare has launched the daily drug regimen for tuberculosis treatment all over the country for TB patients.

Currently ministry is providing thrice weekly regimen for Tuberculosis treatment and now decided to provide daily with Fixed Dose combination to TB patients.

3.Qaumi Ekta Week will be observed from 19-25 Nov'17. 
Quami Ekta also known as National Integration week to be observed from November 19 -25 across the country with aim to foster and reinforce the spirit of Communal Harmony, National Integration and pride in vibrant, composite culture and nationhood 

4.Cochin Shipyard’s to become International Ship Repair. 
Nitin Gadkari  Union Minister has lays foundation stone for Cochin Shipyard’s International Ship Repair Facility with the cost of Rs 970 Crore.

5.8th Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) to be held at Hyderabad. 
The 8th Global Entrepreneurship Summit is being co-hosted by United States and India to be held November 28 to 30 at Hyderabad.

6.World Toilet day – November 19 
World Toilet Day is observed on November 19 to raise awareness on sanitation crisis. This year World Toilet day observed with the theme of focus on wastewater. 

7.Manmohan singh wins Indira Gandhi prize
Former Prime Minister of India Manmohann Singh wins the Indira Gandhi Prize for Peace, Disarmament and Development for 2017

8.Anuk  Arudpragasam wins DSC Prize. 

Anuk Arudpragasam of Srilanka wins the 2017 DSC prize for South Asian literature for his novel “The Story of a Brief Marriage” at the Dhaka lit Fest in Bangladesh

9.Manushi Chhillar crowned Miss world 2017 
India’s Manushi Chhillar has crowned Miss World 2017 held in China. Previously for India Priyanka chopra has won Miss title in 2000.
