1.Exercise Yudh Abhyas – 2017 between India and US. 

13^th Edition of exercise Yudh Abhyas-2017 to be conducted from 14 to 27 September at Joint Base Lewis McChord , Washington USA between India and US.

It is one of the largest joint running military training and defence cooperation between both countries.

2.International Literacy Day – 2017 on 8^th September 2017 

International Literacy Day is celebrated on 8^th September annually all over the world. This year 51^st International literacy day is celebrated with the theme announced by UNESCO is “Literacy in a digital World”.

 3.Vivek Goenka new PTI Chairman.

 Vivek Goenka has been elected as new Chairman of Press Trust of India, he will succeed Riyad Mathew.

 4.First National Canine Seminar organised by NSG 

First National Canine Seminar has been organized by NSG (National Security Guard) at Manesar , Haryana with theme of  ''Canine as Tactical Weapon in Fight against Terrorism and' 'Emerging Tools and Practices of Canines Training'' '' .

It aimed to discuss and deliberate on the techniques of dog training and plan to deploying dogs in counter terrorism or any insurgency.
