1.MoU between India and Morocco on cooperation in the field of health 
Union Cabinet has given its nod on cooperation in the field of health between India and Morocco.

The MoU will cover areas of Non-communicable diseases, including child cardiovascular diseases and cancer; Drug Regulation and Pharmaceutical quality control; Communicable Diseases; Maternal, child and neonatal health; Hospital twinning for exchange of good practices; Training in administration and management of health services and Hospitals; and other areas under mutually decided.


2.MoU between India and Armenia on Cooperation in the field of Disaster Management 
Union Cabinet has given its nod on signing MoU b/w India and Armenia on Cooperation in the field of Disaster management.
It will help to enhance its cooperation on Disaster management and contribute to the safety and well- being of people of both India and Armenia during any disaster.

3.Cabinet approves Rs 10,881 crore “Dairy Processing & Infrastructure Development Fund” 
The Union Cabinet committee on Economic Affairs has given its nod for Dairy processing & Infrastructure Development fund (DIDF) with a sum of Rs 10,881 crore for period from 2017-18 to 2028-29. It will help to build efficient milk procurement system and other processing infrastructure



4.Cabinet given nod to survey on India’s Un-appraised Areas of Sedimentary Basins 
Union Cabinet committee on Economic Affairs has given its nod to survey on India’s un-appraised area of sedimentary basins with the project  cost of Rs 2,932.99 crore.

The project will be implemented by National Oil Companies like Oil India Limited (OIL) and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC). The Project will conduct survey of 48,243 Line Kilometre (LKM) of 2D seismic data of the country’s sedimentary basins for which less data is available.

It will help to enhance the investments in domestic production of Oil and Gas.



5.India’s first advanced Homoeopathy Virology lab in Kolkata 
India’s First Advanced homoeopathy virology Lab is inaugurated at Dr. Anjali Chatterjee Regional Research Institute for Homoeopathy in Kolkata.

6.Regional Research Institute of Homoeopathy inaugurated in Agartala.
Regional Research Institute of Homwoepathy was inaugurated in Agartala by the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH, Shri Shripad Naik.

7.125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda's Chicago Address. 
Prime Minister Narendra Modi address the students convention to  mark the historic occasion of 125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago speech. The Theme of the convention was 'Young India, New India'

8.Nadal wins US open.

Rafael Nadal wins Men’s Tennis US Open 2017 by beating Kevin Anderson 6-3, 6-3, 6-4. It was his 16th Major Title.
