1.Multi-Agency Exercise ‘Pralay Sahayam’ held in Hyderabad.

Multi Agency Exercise “Pralay Sahayam” of all Central and state agencies, National disaster Relief Force and Armed Forces towards jointly tackling an urban flooding scenario has been held in Hyderabad on the banks of Hussain Sagar Lake.

2.Japan to fund MRTS project in Gujarat and Haryana. 

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has extended a soft loan to develop 2 Mass Rapid transit Systems(MRTS) in Gujarat and Haryana.

Its main objective is to promote economic development and welfare in developing countries by providing interest rate of loan at very low at 0.1%.
