1.Unani Day Februay 11 

• 2 Day International Conference on Unani Medicine inaugurated by union Minister Jitender Singh at New Delhi on Unani day.
• Conference was organised by Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM).
• Unani day was celebrated on January 11 to recognize the contribution made by Hakim Ajmal Khan in Unani Medicine.
• Hakim Ajmal Khan on January 11, 1868, he is known as founder of scientific research in Unani medicine

2.National Women Entrepreneurship Council. 

Government is set to establish National Women Entrepreneurship Council to promote entrepreneurship among women in India.

3.India Health Fund (IHF).

• The India Health Fund (IHF) in collaboration with Global Funds taken initiative support innovations and technologies designed to fight tuberculosis and malaria.
• The India Health Fund is an initiative of Tata Trust.

4..National Deworming Day. 

National Deworming day held on February 10 with the initiative in treating intestinal worm infections in all children aged between 1- 19.

• Chennai’s tree cove is only 15% as per the latest report.
• Chennai Corporation is planning to increase the tree cover to 33%.

• Indigenously developed  hybrid rifle named Ghatak given to forest guards to protect Assam from poachers mainly in Kaziranga National Park, Asam.
• Ghatak was developed by Ddefence Research Development Organisation (DRDO)

9.Uniply National tenpin bowling championship. 

• Shabbir Dhankot of Tamil Nadu wins Men’s Uniply National tenpin bowling championship
