1.Diu-100% on solar power. 
Diu becomes the first Union territory in Country to run 100% on solar Power generated Energy. 

2.Passive Euthanasia 
  • Supreme Court of India has given its land mark judgement that the Passive Euthanasia is permissible and also allowed living will with strict guidelines. 
  • A constitution bench says that the fundamental right to live with human dignity under Article 21 also includes – right to refuse treatment and die with dignity.

3.Milan-2018 
  • The Glorious International City Parade held in Marina Park in Andaman & Nicobar during Milan 2018.
  • Andaman & Nicobar to hosting  Milan 2018 , which is a congregation of littoral Navies conducted biennially by Indian Navies.           
  • This exercise aims to strengthen cooperation among the participating countries.
  • This year it will held from March 6 to 13 with the Theme  “Friendship across the seas”
  • The  theme of this year’s MILAN International Maritime Seminar is ‘In Pursuit of Maritime Good Order - Need for Comprehensive Information Sharing Apparatus”
  • This year’s Exercise will showcase the rich heritage and pristine natural beauty of the Andaman
  • & Nicobar Islands to  visitors.
  • Milan Exercise first started in 1995 with four countries navies participated.
  • Now Milan Exercise has now grown, that not only navies from the Bay of Bengal and South East Asia but the larger Indian Ocean Region (lOR) also participating. 

4.Joint declarations of financial Partnership. 
  • Joint financial partnership Declarations has been signed between The International Solar Alliance (ISA) and the African Development Bank (AfDb), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), the Green climate fund (GCF), and the New Development Bank (NDB) . 
  • ISA aims in deployment of over 1000 GW solar Energy by 2030.
5.Fullfilling Bapu’s Dream 
First copy of FUllfulling Bapu’s Dream which is Prime Minsiter NArendra Modi’s Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi  received by Indian President Ram Nath Kovind.
