2.Kundah Pumped Storage Hydro-Electric Project 

• Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami inaugurated at Kattukuppai in Nanajanad village in the Nilgiris.
• Pumped storage hydro electric system means generating hydroelectric energy for peak time by pumping water from a lower to a higher reservoir during low-demand time and the stored water will be used during peak time for power generation.
