1.2+2 Dialogue b/w India US 
  • The first 2+2 Dialogue between India and US to be held on July 6 in US, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman will participate in meeting with US Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo and Secretary of Defence James N. Mattis.
  • The 2+2 dialogue format was agreed during the visit of Narendra Modi to US on June 2017.
  • In the meeting both countries likely to share perspectives on strengthening their strategic and security ties and exchange views on a range of bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual interest. 

2.First inter-state reintroduction of Tiger. 
  • Tiger Named T-2 from Kanha Tiger reserve in Madhya Pradesh has been shifted to Odisha’s Satkosai Tiger Reserve.
  •  This is the first shifting of tiger form one state to another state in India.

3.Sub-Saturn like Planet 
  • Indian scientist have discovered Sub-Saturn like planet around a Sun-like star which is known as EPIC 211945201b or K2-236b.
  • The discovery was made using indigenously designed  “PRL Advance Radial-velocity Abu-sky Search” (PARAS) spectrograph combined with 1.2m Telescope at PRL's Gurushikhar Observatory in Mount Abu, Rajasthan India.

4.iHariyali app 
  • Punjab Government has introduced iHariyali app under Mission Tandarust Punjab with aim to increase state Green cover.
  • In iHariyali app , users can order free tree saplings and also get advice to control pollution.


5.World’s first International Centre for Humanitarian Forensics 
  •  World’s first International Centre for Humanitarian Forensics has been launched in Gujarat .
  • It was launched by Gujarat forensic Sciences University in jointly with regional delegation of International Committee of the Red Cross in India, Bhutan, Nepal and the Maldives.

6.Rajasthan sets a Guinness record in Yoga. 
Rajasthan sets a Guinness world record for bringing lakh of people together at a yoga Session on International Yoga Day.
