1.Declaration on Berne Convention. 
  • World Intellectual property organisation has notified the declaration of India relating to Article II and II of the appendix to the Paris Act (1971) relating to Berne convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works which came into force from March 28,2018.
  • The Declaration will avail the faculties provided for the article II and II of the appendix to the Berne convention during the 10 years period that will expire on Oct 10 2024.
  • Berne Convention is International copyright agreement for Protection of Literary and Artistic work which was first accepted in Berne Switzerland in 1886.
  • India becomes member of Berne Convention on 1928 and since then India has beee submitting declaration as per Article II and III of the Appendix.
2.UNSC Non-permanent Members. 
South Africa, Indonesia, Dominican Republic, Germany and Belgium elected as non-permanent members of United Nation Security Council(UNSC) for two year term which begins from Jan 2019.

3.TN’s first Antyodaya train 
  • Union Minister Rajen Gohain flagged of Tamil Nadu’s first Antyodaya train between Tambaram and Tirunelveli for unreserved passengers.
  • Antyodaya Express are designed completely for unreserved Passengers.
4.ICGS C 439 commissioned 
  • Indian Coast guard commissioned Interceptor ship ICGS C439 at naval dockyard, Mumbai.
  • It can achieve max speed of 45 knots and  helps in various operation like surveillance, rescue and research operation and more. 
5.China’s Friendship Medal 
China has awarded its highest state award Friendship Medal to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

6.Women’s World record ODI score
New Zealand Women’s cricket team has scored world record ODI score of 490 runs in 50 overs against Ireland.
