1.ISRO’s crew escape module.

• Indian Space Research Organisation tested its first Crew escape system at Sriharikota, as a part of India’s preparation to send an Indian Astronaut to the space with indigenously developed rocket in Future.
• The system is an emergency escape measure designed to pull the crew members to the safest place during a launch abort
• ISRO Said that  - “The Pad Abort Test demonstrated the safe recovery of the crew module in case of any exigency at the launch pad,”

2.Design University for Gaming. 

United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) will set up  'Design University for Gaming' in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

3.Civil Aviation Research Organization (CARO) at Hyderabad 

• State-run Airports Authority of India (AAI) is going to set up Civil Aviation Research Organisation (CARO) at at Hyderabad’s Begumpet Airport .
• The Aim of the Organization is to find solution for challenges posed to curb air traffic and to enhance  safety and efficiency.

4.International day for Cooperatives -  July 7 

• Members of Cooperatives across the world celebrated International Day for Cooperative on first Saturday of July every year.
• The theme of 2018 is “Sustainable consumption and production of  goods and Services”.

5.AK Goel. 

Justice AK Goel appointed as new Chairperson of National Green Tribunal.

6.Thiru Ramasaamy Padatchiyar.
