1.3rd AIIB Annual meet. 
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated third Annual meeting of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Mumbai.
  • AIIB is a multilateral development bank with a mission to improve the infrastructure of Asian region.
  • Its headquarters is in Beijing , China which came into force from Dec’2015.

2.MoU b/w India and Seychelles. 
  • India and Seychelles has signed Memorandum of Understanding during the Seychelles President Danny Faure visit to India.
  • Important MoU’s are (Pib official release)
  • Grantiing Assistance for Implementation of Small Development Projects through Local Bodies, Educational and Vocational Institutions
  • Establishment of Friendship and Cooperation between the Corporation of the City of Panaji and the City of Victoria  Seychelles
  • MOU on Cooperation in the area of Cyber Security.
  • Agreement on Cultural Exchange Programme .
  • Technical Agreement on Sharing White Shipping Information between the Indian Navy and the National Information Sharing and Coordination Center of the Republic of Seychelles
  • Agreement  between the Foreign Service Institute of the Ministry of External Affairs of India and foreign Affairs of t Seychelles

3.Livestock export from Nagpur airport. 
The Livestock of Sheep and Goat to be first time exported from Nagpur Airport to Sharjah.
This will help to enhance the income of Farmers.

4.Giant Aldabra tortoise 
  • As a Goodwill gesture, Seychelles has gifted Pair of Giant Aldabra tortoise to India
  • The Giant tortoise weighs around 120 to 150 kg and can live upto 200 years.
  • The Tortoises will kept in Hyderabad Zoo.

5.Recep Tayyip Erdogan 
Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been relected as Turkey President.
