1.“Statistics Day – June 29 
12th Statistics Day was celebrated across the country to honour Prof. P. C. Mahalanobis on the field of Statistics.

2.World conference of Whole sale Market. 
Haryana will host 33rd World Union of Wholesale Markets (WUWM) Conference in Gurugram on October 2018.

3.Pakistan in FATF grey list 
The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) had formally placed Pakistan on the grey list for failing to curb anti-money laundering and terrorism financing regime.

About FATF
  • FATF is an inter-governmental body to combat money laundering and terrorist financing.
  • It was established in G-7 summit in 1989, headquartered in Paris, France..
  • It has 37 member including India, European Union and the Gulf Co-operation Council

About Grey list
  • Including in Grey list which means the country which not taken enough step to counter money laundering and terrorist financing.
  • It will decrease the foreign investment in the country considering the ties to terrorist activities , also the image of country.
  • Also very difficult to get the loan from International monetary fund, world bank and other foreign financial institituion.


4.First Delta Ranking of Aspirational Districts. 
  • NITI Ayog has released the First Delta ranking of Aspirational Districts, based on 5 developmental areas of Health and Nutrition, Education, Agriculture and Water Resources, Financial Inclusion and Skill Development, and Basic Infrastructure.
  • Dahod District of Gujarat ranked first and West Sikkim district of Sikkim ranked second on the ranking.
  • Niti Ayog  Vice Chairman Amitabh Kant said, “the purpose of this ranking is to spur a sense of competition among the dynamic teams in the districts. Since these districts face many challenges including legacy, unexploited or weak resource base, deficit of manpower at different levels due to difficult living conditions. The ranking is also a tool to identify sectors and indicator specific challenges so that Team India, which is driving this programme, can take immediate corrective measures” 

5.Antonio Vitorino 
Antonio Vitorino Of Portugal elected as Director General of United Nations International Migration Office.

6.Reunite App 
Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu lanhced a mobile App called Reunite App to trace missing and abandoned children in country.

7.Girish Chandra Chaturvedi 
Giriesh Chandra Chaturved named ICICI bank chairman.
