Suspended Animation means keeping the Legislative assembly in a suspended form without dissolving the Legislative assembly.

Significance:


  • It allows any of the parties to form the government in the future (Until the Legislative Assembly is Dissolved).
  • Avoids frequent Elections. Thus, Saving huge amount of Money.


Recently state legislatures of Delhi and Andhra Pradesh are kept in suspended animation.
