1.Government launches two new Contraceptives.

Two new Contraceptives, an injectable contraceptive MPA (Medroxyprogesterone Acetate) under the “Antara” Programme and a contraceptive pill “Chaya” has launched by the Ministry of Health and Family welfare.
It will help to expand the available contraceptive choices to meet the needs of couples. Hence it helps people to meet their family planning.



2.India to worry on slow pace of service talks at RCEP. 
During the 5th RCEP ministerial meeting to be held on September 10 in Manila on the side-lines of ASEAN Economic Ministers meeting, India is going to raise the concern regarding the slow pace of negotiations of services trade liberalisation as contrast to higher priority given to open up goods trade in the region.

India is worried that other countries of RCEP are keen on eliminating tariffs to open up goods trade instead of sticking to RCEP Principles and Objectives. Hope India will talk tough and will discuss further on opening up goods trade, only after ensuring the negotiation on services trade liberalisation catch up with talks on goods trade. 3.NITI Aayog launches the National Nutrition Strategy 
To address the child stunting and malnutrition among children and women, NITI Aayog has launched the National Nutrition Strategy and called for renewed focus on nutrition.
As per the latest report India shown decline in overall level of under nutrition but the pace of decline is far behind with other countries with similar growth trajectories.



4.Under sea Pipe line from Iran to port cheap gas
Under Sea Pipe Line from Iran can bring cheaper gas to India , avoiding Pakistani waters. Also it will be less than the price of LNG available in the spot markets and can save $1 Billion annually.

5.Lucknows gets metro. 
Lucknow gets its much waited Metro train with the 8.5 km stretch from Transport Nagar to Charbag. It was flagged off by  Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

6.PM Modi in Myanmar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Visit to Myanmar, On his arrival Modi presented a reproduction of a 1841 map of a stretch of the River Salween to President of Myanmar H.E. Mr. U Htin Kyaw.
