1.Study reveals Maize will be alternate for Kuruvai Paddy crop. 
Recent study conducted by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University has revealed that cultivation Maize is alternate for Kuruvai paddy during the time of water scarcity.The short period maize cultivation can bring handful income to the farmers.


2.India sends first ship of wheat to Afghan via Chabahar. 
India Sends its first ship of wheat to Afghanistan via Chabahar port located in Iran.  The chabahar port now the primary gateway for India to reach Afghanistan and Central Asia. The Chabahar port has been developed in Iran with the help of India.
               

 3.Italian PM Gentiloni in India.
Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni arrived in New Delhi and will meet Indian Prime minister Narendra modi in a bid to boost ties between India and Italy.

4.Joe D’cruz appointed member of National shipping board.
Sahitya Akademi award-winner Joe D’Cruz, has been appointed as a member of the National Shipping Board under Union Ministry of Shipping.

David Miller from South Africa set a new world record blasting 35 ball 100 in T20 match against visiting Bangladesh team. Previous record is made off 45 balls by South African Richard Levi against New Zealand.
