1.World Government Summit 2018 

• 6^th World Government Summit 2018 held at Dubai.
• Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended World Government Summit 2018.
• India’s UMANG gets m-Government Service Award for the Accessible Government Category .
• Also India’s AADHAAR is one of the Winner of the Best Government Emerging Technologies Award. 

2.The Global Theatre Olympics 

• The 8^th Global Theatre Olympics to be held in India for first time at Red Ford , New Delhi on 17^th February 2018.
• The Theme of the theatre Olympics to be held in India is “Flag of Friendship”.
• The Theatre Olympics established in 1993 at Delphi, Greece, it is an international Theatre festival which brings theatre practitioner’s around the world.
• It is an initiative of Greek theatre director Theodoros Terzopoulos.

3.NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam 

India’s largest electricity producer NTPC ‘s (Natioanl Thermal Power Corporation )  subsidiary NVVN (NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam) won the tender to supply 300 MW power to Bangladesh.

 4.Agreement with UAE. 

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his visit to UAE has signed 2 agreement to boost India’s Energy Sector.
• Agreement between Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and the Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Ltd (ISPRL) to filling up one half of a strategic petroleum reserve rock Caverns in Mangalore.
• Second agreement is to pick up 10% stake in ADNOC ‘s Lower Zakum Offshore oil field by Indian Oil Majors.

5.India Pharma & India Medical Device 2018 

The 3^rd International Exhibition and conference Pharmaceutical & Medical Device sector, India Pharma & India Medical Device 2018 with the theme of ‘Affordable and Quality Healthcare’ to be held from 15- 17 Feb in Bengaluru. 

6.Russia’s cargo spacecraft 

Russia’s Soyuz rocket has launched cargo Spacecraft to resupply International Space Station.

7.World Radio Day 

• February 13 is observed as World Radio Day across the world.
• The Theme of 2018 World Radio Day is Radio and Sports.

8.Dakota aircraft 

Air Chief Dhanoa recived the vintage World War-II DC3 Dakota aircraft from Air Cdre (Retd) Chandrasekhar
