1.Informal WTO Ministerial Meet. 

• The 2 day largest Informal World Trade Oganisation’s Ministerial Meeting begins in New Delhi.
• Delegations from 52 countries and Director General of WTO Roberto Azevedo are participated in Meet.
• This meet will provide opportunity for participating countries to engage in free and frank discussion.
• It also explores option to reinvigorate the World Trade Organisation. 

2.Exercise 'Varuna'  

• Indian Navy to host bilateral maritime exercise called Varuna 2018 with French Navy in India.
• In 2017 Varuna is conducted in 3 areas in European waters.
• This year also Varuna exercise will be conducted in 3 areas namely, the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and South Western Indian Ocean 

3.Agreement on Earth Observation Data. 

India and European union has signed an agreement on cooperation to share Earth Observation Data from each other’s Satellite.

4.First India-Japan Workshop on DRR 

• First India and Japan workshop on Disaster Risk Reduction inaugurated
• Discussion mainly on cooperation on disaster Risk reduction mainly on earthquake Safety. 

5.Gulf Shield 1 military exercise . 

Saudi Arabia organised Guld Shield 1 military exercise with the aim to raise the military readiness, modernisation, cooperation and coordination among the participating countries.

6.Vladimir Putin

Vladimir Putin wins the presidential election again in Russia.
